Claire Richards has told The Sun of her despair when she thought her career was over – because she put on weight.
The lead singer starved herself at the height of her fame in the 90s – but still thought she was fat when she weighed SEVEN STONE.

As well as filming for the Steps documentary, Claire has been filming a TV series of her own. “Slave to food” starts on September 7th at 21:00 on Sky Living and runs for three weeks, with the Steps documentary following it.
